How to change e-mail associated with account (Google SSO)?

I'm trying to change the e-mail associated to my mindmeister account as it's my school e-mail and it will be deactivated tomorrow.

I already followed this guide: https://support.mindmeister.com/hc/en-us/articles/218901367-Edit-Your-Personal-Information-Password-or-Email-Address

It shows the following :

However, on my screen, I only have the option to change the password in this tab, not the e-mail.

What can I do here?

    Hi @kia and @Jörg Koper - sorry for the headache here! We had a bug related to this issue previously which prevented users who used Google SSO from creating a new password and disabling Google SSO. It appears this issue may be rearing its ugly head again! 😕

    Kia, I've gone ahead and created a temporary password for you and sent it to your e-mail address. You should be able to use this temporary password to log in, disable Google SSO, and change your e-mail.

    Again, sorry for the frustration here! I've reported this to our developers that this bug has been reactivated and we will get onto it ASAP.

    I created the account myself, and I just checked and I am not part of any other team.

    OK, have you tried the following?

    • go to the settings of your account
    • go to password & E-Mail
    • scroll down (below passwort and below two factor authorization)
    • look for E-Mail (that's where you can change your E-Mail)

    I'm pretty sure that the issue is that I have it set up to log in through Gmail. When I try to disconnect it from the Gmail account, I'm getting a message to set a password. However, when I go to set a password, I get an error message that just says "Oh no, something went wrong." :/

    That's a bit weird. If you're the owner / admin of the account you normally should be able to see the settings. Have you tried to log out, use another browser (best option is Google Chrome), delete the cache and log in again?
