Unable to set password or change email address even after disconnecting Google SSO

edit: UGH, the post editor completely destroyed my post, so editing it to take out the images....
I originally created my Mind Meister account using Google SSO, but am now wanting to connect my account to my student email address instead. Problem is that I have no option to change the email address associated with my account due to Google SSO, so
- I went to my account page
- Accessed the Services & Sessions tab
- Connected Facebook as a backup in order to not lose access to my account
- Disconnected Google (img1)
- Went to the Email tab (notice how it only says "Email")
- Tried setting a new password (img2)
- Still get the same unhelpfully vague "Oh no - Something went wrong" error that I got prior to disconnecting Goog, prompting me to input a current password that doesn't exist & it wont let me setup.
Please help...? Thank you.

Hi @vh1985 - sorry to hear about this issue. This is a bug that's cropped up before, and it looks like it may occurred again on your account. I'll take a closer look in the backend to see what might be causing this error, but in the meantime, I've gone ahead and assigned your account a temporary password and sent it to you via e-mail. You should be able to disconnect all SSO and use this password normally from now on.
Sorry for the headache here and happy mapping!
Best,
Andrew

Hi @vh1985,
I'm not sure if you already have done this or if it helps, but I think you alos have to change your e-mail in the settings:
In my opinion you need a valid e-mail to log in and if you disconnect the gmail login you need a new mail for loggin in.
Best, Samuel
The impossible does not exist! The solution has just not been found yet!

Hi Samuel,
Thank you for the quick reply. Unfortunately, there is no way for me to change my email. The "Email" tab only offers Password and Two-Factor Authentication, no actual Email fields... Even after disconnecting Google SSO. Which is the problem...

Thank you! I've followed up your email with additional, related password reset issues...
