Why Does Using Control Keys and Arrows Only Work to Demote?

Hi,

Using control key and arrow up or down should promote or demote entries. Only works with control arrow down / demote.

User guide says contradictory things - in one place control arrow up, in another control arrow left to promote.

Neither works.

How can you prmote and entry via the keyboard?

    Hello @Triplogunderbon I just recorded this short demo video where I show you how I move topics around.

    Note that the black bar at the bottom of the screen shows my key presses in real time, for you to have a reference of what I'm doing on my keyboard.

    The only references I found about the arrow keys were regarding navigation.

    Hello Trip, when you use the key combinations you pointed above you can re-order topics in your mind map, up or down.

    That's how it has been working all this time.

    Can you use those key bindings?

    As @Andres D'Andrea has already mentioned in his previous answer, it should work to move your topics both up and down with these shortcuts. I just tried it out in one of my mind maps and it worked for me in both directions. Do you still experience issues with it @Triplogunderbon ?
