Automation to archive after X time in column or X time after completed

Manually archiving tasks, and arching everything in a column is a bit overkill. I would like my Done column to always show things recently completed.

In Jira you can have a date filter on a column to let tasks age out in the column so you don't have to think about it and the column stays relevant.

An age filter would work, but this request is for a relative date-based automation to Archive tasks after a relative date trigger either bound to the date the task was moved to that column.

If you do this right it could be flexible to perform a number of operations.

    Agree!

This subject of automations for archiving closed tasks has come up several times, the solution you proposed @NathanaelCBR makes a lot of sense.

I especially like how Jira auto-archives closed issues after some time, I believe it's 15 days.

Let's hope this one gets a lot of support to have it implemented this year.

    Best regards.

I would love to see this feature as well!
Currently I have written my own automation using the API, but I don't like that solution.
