Tasks disappear in Windows App after I disconnect internet

I was occasionally finding my tasks would be lost shortly after I entered them.

I've think I've found the problem — it seems if you turn off your internet, then any newly created tasks will disappear after about 5 seconds.

This is easy to reproduce. I can't find any discussion of this exact issue.

Just a final update for any other readers, I've been told it is intended behaviour that changes to tasks are silently discarded if you lose internet for a few seconds, and the solution is "have a stable internet connection".

Sorry to hear this! Could you please clear the cache and cookies in your browser, try another browser or open your account in incognito/private mode to see if the behavior changes?

If this doesn´t help, please provide me with the following details to investigate the issue further:

Is this behavior occurring only in the Windows web app?
How long have you been experiencing this behavior? Has anything in particular happened during that time?
What operating systems and browser versions do you use?

Note that none of this involves a web browser. I'm using the Windows Desktop App.

I have always suffered from disappearing tasks, I think I've just figured out what's causing it.

I have allowed access, it is in the "work" projec,t but the effected tasks aren't visible (I can create lots of tasks while the internet is connected, they all disappear. I made a bunch called a,b,c,d,etc.)
