[DELIVERED] Integration between MeisterTask and MeisterNote

We use MeisterTask to manage our large project orders and MeisterNote to note events to that large project.

Why can't they be integrated?

Something as simple as a switch at the top of the Project and Note page that you can toggle between the tasks for a project and the notes on that project.

We're approaching the release of this feature, which will be released as part of a large update to all MeisterTask ←→ MeisterNote integrations.

Improving the way our tools integrate within the Meister Suite is one of our biggest product goals, and a 2-way integration with MeisterTask and MeisterNote seems like a very good candidate for helping us get there.

Internally, we've been using Custom Fields to reference MeisterNotes within tasks, like in this example from our "Community Launch" Project:

Agreed though, that this is far form an ideal user experience, and doesn't fit with your needs of integrating notes on a project-level. Thanks for sharing your use case - I'll keep this space updated with more information as it becomes available!

@PeterM Good call! As @Andrew Lapidus said, it's our goal to integrate all of our tools seamlessly with each other, including MeisterTask & MeisterNote. This will improve the user experience within the Meister Suite for our customers, but also for us at Meister internally! (YES, we use the Meister Suite as well 🤩)

MeisterNote is the latest edition to the Suite and we have a lot of cool things planned, including the improved MeisterTask integration. I'm excited that the community gives us the chance to stay updated via threads like these 👌

It would be great if a task in MeisterTask includes a backlink to the note in MeisterNote where the task was originally created.

Similar to how MeisterTask references an Outlook mail where the task was created (when using the Outlook add-in)

That way, it would be easy to quickly get the context of the task in MeisterNote.
