"Something went wrong" error when trying to add a task. Troubleshooting?

I have tried to add a task and keep getting the same error message:

Something Went Wrong

    I'm sorry about this! Is your internet connection stable and strong?

    Please clear cookies + cache, quit + reopen the browser, log out and log back into MeisterTask, and test in Incognito mode.
