Better Duplication(?)

Hey there, Jerry again😅

I've again came up with a new idea that it might be beneficial to offer automations in MeisterNote, but in general, this type of automation could also be useful for MeisterTask.

I use a section called "Team Resources" in the internal area.
Within this section, there are what I call "Duplication Templates," which I duplicate based on my needs, such as:

  • Internal Template
  • Discussion Template

During the duplication process, I can customize the name and choose whether all sub-pages should be duplicated too or not.
However, it would be helpful to have the option to specify a "destination" for the duplicated page or have a general automation for where this specific template should be duplicated by default.

Let me know what you think about this idea and if you believe it would be a valuable feature to have.😉

Enjoy your Day & Week!

Best regards,
Jerry

    Hi again, @Jerry Garden 😊

The option, to choose a destination during the duplication process, is a nice idea and time safer.

    I'm in 👍️

    Best, Jörg

We use this the exact same way as the OP. The usability issue is when you have >15 tasks in the lane and have to go to the dupe, then open it, then move it to the project. As an idea, leave the duplicate function the same, but in the Move To dialog have a check box to "Make a Copy" (this is how Excel works too).
