How to get Notified of Due Dates

I have set due dates on some tasks, but they don't show up as notifications when they are due on my dashboard on my desktop…is there a setting I need to choose?

Also, I followed the instructions to set notifications on my iphone and made sure they were turned on, but they don't show up there either.

I'd love to see them in both places…is that possible? and if so, how????

You can find the settings for MeisterTask's notifications by clicking on preferences (have to click on your avatar). There, you can also find the settings for E-Mail notifications. I hope this helps 😉

Thanks. I did that, but where do those notifications show up? I would think I would see them in the timeframe I selected on my dashboard on either or both my phone and desktop, but I only have random unscheduled ones that show up there. Am I missing a step?

You have several options @Lissa Figgins.

The dashboard gives you an overview of all important processes in your projects. Please keep in mind, that the information widgets show you, what you want to see. You can of course manage the in-app-notification-feed with desired settings too.

If you'd like to get notifications via E-Mail, you need to have a Pro or Business licence. There are some nice automations available in MeisterTask. The settings in your preferences only ensure, that, for example, E-Mail notifications will be delivered by MeisterTask (if it's deactivated in the preferences, you won't get them).

There are also information about the notifications in iOS available.
