Is it possible to change column size? Is there an automation to sort column by due date?

Hello,

we want to change the size of the columns but we can't find how to do it, 
Do you know if this is possible?

In addition, we would like to set up an automation so that the sorting of the columns 
is done automatically by due date. 
If anyone can guide us.
