Team Projects vs. Private Projects

Until recently, all projects you created in MeisterTask were private by default. You could share these projects with others, but these projects were not visible to people unless they were actively invited to them.

In addition to these private projects, our Business users could create Team Projects — these were automatically accessible to their entire Business team.

So, what's changed?

Now that we've introduced "Basic Teams" (aka the ability to form a team with multiple members even on the Basic plan), we also introduced Team Projects as the new default for Basic users. This means that if you're on MeisterTask's Basic plan and you create a project, this will now automatically be a Team Project. The ability to create Private Projects (aka projects that are not accessible to the rest of the team) has become a paid feature, available for all Pro and Business users.
