Why is live visible task syncing not working?

Hi All,

My team and I have used MeisterTask for many years (since 2017) and one of the main attractions was the live visible syncing of tasking being added and moved etc. As of late this doesn't seem to be happening unless we do a complete refresh of the project page.

Is there anything that could be stopping this syncing happening? We have a very strict firewall, are there any additional URLs other than "https://www.meistertask.com/app/" that are used for syncing that could be whitelisted to possibly help the situation?

    Hi Mark, and thanks for the heads up, Jörg!

    UPDATE: This issue was solved by whitelisting wss://www.meistertask.com/websocket in the user's firewall.


    Thanks for the extra information about your system — since this may be related to your firewall, I've gone ahead and forwarded this to our engineering team for investigation.     Thanks for the response our details are as follows:

    • Windows 10 OS on all machines
    • Browser and the windows installer (not the Microsoft store app as this is blocked)
    • Google Chrome
