Why can't I post a link using Japanese characters?

I contacted you because my team was using Mindmeister and had trouble with the link.
If the attached link contains 2-byte (e.g. Japanese) characters, I cannot put the link on the page, can you please make it compatible?

(I can post links to sites that do not contain 2-byte characters, such as YouTube, without any problem.)
