Using Google to Authenticate Windows 10 App Login

Good afternoon! I have recently downloaded the Meistertask app to my Windows 10 work PC. My account is set up to use my Google account to authenticate (not just my Google email address for a Meister login). When I click on "log in", then "log in with Google", I am redirected to a web page, which in turn sends me back to the app login page. How do I actually log in using my Google account?

Hi @Sheila Luttrell, happy new year and welcome to the community 👋🙂

Google is normally opening a browser window for the sign-in process that is needed for Google security reasons. After submitting the needed information, it will normally redirect you back to the MeisterTask Desktop App, and you're signed in.

In some cases, this process can be interrupted by browser plugins or scrips. Please have a look at this and, if needed, deactivate them during this sign-in process. If this doesn't work either, feel free to get back. I'll then try to get the Meister-Team aboard for further assistance.

    Best, Jörg
