Automation of tasks wtih subtasks

I love the automation of tasks. We have different complex tasks often two times in the year. already use the repating task feature for some of them, so I don't forget the start that task again.

I have some tasks with ~ 5-10 subtaks and would love to have them repeated. At the moment I can neither repeat the task with the subtasks, nor the subtasks itself.

So the workaround is: repeat the main task in a few month, which has a checklist of its subtasks; search for every old subtask to duplicate it and then reattach it.

I would appreciate a more handy way 😅

The mentioned workaround is far more work than I expected. I can't suggest it.

To renew the subtask you have to:

    1. Search for the subtask
    2. Duplicate
    3. Close the old one, because you stay in the old one
    4. Search for the new subtask which now has the exact status und name
    5. Detach Subtask from old main task
    6. Open main task
    7. Search for subtask and attach it to the new main task

    Repeat for every subtask.

Search for the subtask first and duplicate it

Currently I set all of the tasks, including subtasks to repeat, then combine them. Also not great but less work than searching for the old tasks.
