Programmatically downloading maps from export links

One of the reasons we went for an upgraded Mindmeister is that we wanted to be able to programmatically download some Mindmeister maps as Freemind files.

Calling the mm.maps.export endpoint works fine in terms of providing a link, and visiting the link in a browser downloads it as desired.

However, attempting to download via a simple HTTPS request fails with the following message: 'Please upgrade your account to get full access to this map.'

I'm at the Pro level, so I would have thought that this was an accessible feature based on the documentation and plan information. Am I mistaken or am I doing this incorrectly?

Thanks for any information. I'm using Python requests module to do this, and other than the download, all other API endpoints work fine.
