[Under Consideration] Feature Idea: Enhanced Integrations (Emails, Calendars, Spreadsheets, API)

We are working on some exciting updates for MeisterTask. We're exploring ways to enhance our integrations with everyday tools such as emails, calendars, and spreadsheets. Our goal is to make our everyday work and experience even more productive within MeisterTask.

💡 Under Consideration: This idea is currently being viewed, tested and evaluated by Meister's product team. There are many different factors that the team is looking at for evaluation and feasibility. If you have any ideas or wishes from your side, please let us know in the thread below.

Sounds great. A few things that come to mind.

An update on the integration with Teams if available, would be great. The integration with Microsoft 365 Groups is still somewhat flaky, perhaps the team could have a look and check all is working smoothly. The integration and use of the MeisterTask app within Outlook web and desktop versions is fine.

Look forward to new or re-tweaked enhancements.

thanks for sharing the information and the inspiration! That's incredibly useful! I wanted to give you a heads up that unfortunately, integrating with Microsoft Teams falls outside the scope of this project. However, I'm excited to share that Outlook is definitely on our radar, and the Meister team is seriously considering its potential.

It would be fantastic if this development also took open formats into account.

I'm seeing more and more alternative email programmes like Thunderbird with the integrated calendar, office alternatives like LibreOffice and encrypted calendars like Proton becoming more and more popular and the communities are growing worldwide.

By the way, I would consider an in-house development of an encrypted calendar from Meister, which can be synchronised with all common external calendars and contains AI options, to be an excellent addition to the Meister software (especially MeisterTask). Perhaps you could conduct a survey on this 😉
