MindMeister Map Logic

A traditional way of using mind mapping techniques when planning, is to capture ideas in a radial or clockwise fashion, from 1 o'clock to 12 o'clock. Many of our clients who use mind mapping techniques when planning their essays or written work will follow this method.

Unfortunately there is no way to adopt this practice within MindMeister, as you can only capture ideas top to bottom on the right and then top to bottom on the left.

Also, when you change from mind map to layout, or visa versa, the structure of the mind map changes, making it difficult to follow your ideas in sequence.

If there was an option to be able to capture ideas using the radial or clockwise technique, I feel this would make it easier for users to plan and structure their written work.

I hope this makes sense, please let me know if you would like any further information or clarification.

Being able to work using a clockwise/radial technique would be advantageous.
