add link - without check if it is a valid

I want to add a link, because the link is to a protected site, it seems it is impossible to add it because mindminset checks it first.

Only personal who is authorized can view it. MindMeister seems to refuse it, because the link seems invalid. (but is actually not). Is there a way to add it without mindmeister checkin it first ?

Have you tried to shorten the link with a service like bit.ly? Maybe that helps.
