Enable upload of webp image format

Dear Team,

as webp is a growing format for online images, it would be great to enable a webp file upload/display on a MT card like for jpg or pdf. Currently I get an error message if I try this. Are there any plans to enable webp? Thx a lot &best regards, Tilman

Definitely agree with your request - to be honest, I am a bit surprised myself to see that webp images don't come up in the image preview! To clarify, you're getting the following error message when trying to view the image, right?

iI @Andrew Lapidus , thx a lot for checking out what can be done. Yes, file upload ist possible, but the preview failure message is like the one you are showing.
