MindMeister is deteriorating day by day and I can prove it. I want my legacy maps back.

Good afternoon,

I have been a loyal customer for years and primarily use MindMeister for my studies. Since being forced to switch from the legacy maps to the new ones, my productivity has significantly decreased, and each day brings a new bug.

This week, the popup window for selecting emojis was reduced in size. The space is now so small that scrolling through the available emojis has become a challenge, making my life difficult as I rely heavily on these features. In the legacy maps, this functionality was INFINITELY SUPERIOR.

I now require more clicks to perform the same actions. In the LEGACY maps, I had a FIXED sidebar that allowed me to add emojis, bold text, insert images, change styles, etc., with ease. Now, I need to click more often to achieve the same results, and many times the action bar disappears, forcing me to refresh the page in hopes it will function properly again.

During map creation, there are MANY TIMES when the TAB, ENTER, and DELETE buttons do not work as they should, failing to create or delete nodes in my mind map. These are just a few of the significant regressions introduced by the new maps, and each day I open this site, I encounter a new unpleasant surprise.

Unfortunately, I have many mind maps here, but at the first opportunity, I will cancel the service and never recommend this tool again.

I would like to second your statements.

I have no ide why would the DEV team disable features that have worked for so many years (ENTER, TAB, and many others).

You outlined some of them but that list is not inclusive.

I agree with this.
The tool has become a unreliable mess in my eyes.
I've just come back here to report a bug (moving a branch causes a consistent error… seriously!!!!).

I strongly agree. The new maps are a massive backlash. The new presentation mode, for an example, is totally useless. Many features have disappeared or are more difficult to use.

And i'm again today trying to use the tool.
Instead of it being a productivity boost… I'm fighting with it.
Can I jump on a call with one of your developers to show you how annoying and painful this is getting?
I'm having to constantly refresh the page to get back some of the functionality and shortcuts.

Yes, I agree! Suddenly the amount of pictures i can use in a mindmap has limitations.
