Unable to manage tags

Hi, I think I'm running into a bug, or it's not included in the free plan anymore. The "Manage" link in the Tags widget is nowhere to be found. It's not there in the desktop app, nor in the web app.

Hi @Ellen O'Neill and welcome to the community 👋🙂

As a basic MeisterTask user, you should also have the option to create and manage tags. Please go to the project settings and have a look at the tags tab. In the picture below, you see what I mean.

Please keep in mind, that you won't find any tags to manage, if there have not been created any of them. In this case, you will probably be confronted with exactly the problem you described 😉

    Best, Jörg

    Hi Jörg,

Thanks for your reply, unfortunately it didn't solve the problem yet. The Tags tab isn't there:

I do use tags a lot:

The only weird thing I notice is the project is owned by "Studio Piet Boon", which is my formal employee. I separated my private account after I left. I'm assuming that's not causing the problem.

I don't mind a reply after Christmas. Happy holidays!

Managing tags effectively can be challenging, especially when dealing with a large volume of content. Tags serve as essential tools for categorizing and organizing information, making it easier to locate and reference later. However, without a proper tagging strategy, things can quickly become overwhelming, leading to duplicate or irrelevant tags that clutter the system. To manage tags efficiently, it's crucial to establish a clear tagging framework designdot, use consistent naming conventions, and regularly audit the tags to eliminate redundancy.

The "Manage" link in the Tags widget might have been moved or restricted to paid plans. Ensure your app is updated, clear your browser cache for the web app, and check the settings menu for tag management. Interestingly, just like Minecraft magic mods can add hidden features or changes, the "Manage" link might have been relocated or redesigned. If it’s still missing, it could be a feature limitation of the free plan—verify this on the app's pricing or feature page. Contact support with your screenshot for further clarification.
