Custom desktop background

Hi, by deactivating the paid plan, after paying for it for several years, even just because I liked the desktop app, since this is no longer supported, I decided to switch to the Basic plan... but is it possible that not even the custom background image is allowed in the free plan?
Really unfriendly and uninviting for new users... and a negative note from old pro users who switch to basic...

I would reevaluate if it became less expensive also because I have always paid for MindMeister together...

    I am sorry to hear that you switched to the Basic plan. I understand your frustration about losing a beloved feature.

    You can find out which features are included in the Basic plan here. In the section "Compare plans" you can see that Custom Backgrounds is a feature that is only available on the paid plans.

    If you downgrade from a paid plan to the Basic plan then your chosen background will stay visible. It can be deleted and exchanged with a limited number of other options.

    Can you remove the alert at the top about unsupported desktop apps? As long as it works I will still use it. Thanks

    I would recommend seeing if you can remove it by:

    • Clicking on the link
    • See if there is a cancel button on the far right side
    • Close and open the tab again
    • Logout and login to your account
    • Update your browser
