Help with reordering Note pages and knowing where a new Note page will be created.

Hello everyone, I am using the basic version of MeisterTask and Meisternote. I have created some pages in but they are not in the order that I want them to be in. I thought I would be able to just drag and drop them to reorder but it doesn’t seem possible unless I am missing something?

How do I reorder the notes pages?

Also when I create a new note, how do I know where it will create it? It just seems to pick a random place in my list of pages, hence my question about having to reorder them.

Last question: how do I access the Meisternote Dashboard? Is this available with the basic plan of MeisterTask? I don’t know where or how to access it.

I am using an IPad Pro and an IPhone 12 Pro.

Hi @Nicky Perryman ,

are you using the iOS app, or are you using MeisterTask through the browser? I am guessing that you use the iOS app, right?

• Drag & Drop to reorder pages: I am guessing that you use the iOS, because drag & dropping pages to reorder them in a Note is only possible in the web version in the browser.
• Creating a new note:
  • When you create a new note, then it will appear in your lists of notes. To see the list of notes:
    • 1. Click on the "Notes" icon on the footer.
    • 2. Click on "Others", if the List of Notes is collapsed.
  • This list is ordered alphabetically. To switch the order of the notes, please open MeisterTask in a browser.
• Accessing the Notes' Dashboard (= list of notes):
  • Click in the footer on the Notes icon in the middle.

Hi Cornelia, thank you for your response. I’ve tried opening MeisterTask on the browser on my iPad but when I click on a note it kicks me out of the browser and opens the app so I’m back to the same problem. I will try opening MeisterTask on my laptop in the browser as I don’t have the app on there and see if that works. It seems odd to me that you can’t drag and drop pages in the app. Why isn’t that possible? It seems such a basic thing.
