    Dear Cornelia and Dev Team,

    Thank you for making MeisterTask more usable every day. After a week of daily use, here are my suggestions about de new Home you just released.

    1. Allow for a modular screen where I can place Modules holding the info I need, a true Dashboard!
    2. Modules should be customizable, for example modules with specific tags, status, assignation, dates, tasks I follow, recent tasks, recent notes. Mixing these criterias would be great, like smart modules, the same way we can filter tasks with several tags.
    3. Allow modules to be enlarged or schrinked depending on my workflow.

    My iPad Pro connected to a large screen. I need a more efficient space occupation. Currently I have a lot of empty spaces.

    And of course, we need all these great features in the iPadOS app as well 😇

    Thanks for the feedback @FrançoisJaeger CODE ! I think you are spot on! Keep in mind, the current Home is just the very first, early version. So in the future we have a lot of room to add additional modules and functionalities just like you described. We have some plans already drawn, but would love to get input, thoughts and feedback from our Beta Users like yourself first.

    For everyone who has signed up later or will sign up: Sign up is still open. Everyone who leaves a comment and is interested will get early access. I will pass on your interest to my colleagues, who will enable the Home in bulk for interested Community users.

    Hi @Thibaut Feurer ,

    no worries, the new feature is already enabled for you. You can access it by clicking on the Home icon in the left sidebar.

    If you cannot see any Home icon in the left sidebar, then I would recommend trying:

    • Hard refresh the browser or tab
    • Logout and login again
    • Try deleting cookies and cache

    I am sorry to hear that you don't like the New dashboard. Could you give us more detailed feedback please, what areas aren't helpful for you at the moment? Maybe I can help with the transition and provide a few tips.

    If you haven't done so, please leave your feedback here in the survey, so that our team can learn more about what doesn't work for you.

    Users can not switch back to the previous, old Dashboard.

    If you want, then I can ask my colleague to take you of the List of Beta users, so that you get the old Dashboard back. This would give you access to the old Dashboard, until we roll out the new feature to everyone. Let me know if I should initiate the switch back.

    We would love to get your feedback on the upcoming, new "My Checklist" feature.

    Many thanks to everyone who has signed up as a beta tester.* The MeisterTask team is currently working on a “My Checklist” feature for the new start page. We have prepared an interactive prototype and would love to hear your opinions.

    The prototype is an interactive click dummy that guides you through clickable images. Here are some tips on how best to use it:

    • Use your mouse: the prototype is designed for mouse interaction, so keyboard input is not possible.
    • Click, don't type: If you need to type something, click on it instead of typing.
    • Click to confirm: Avoid pressing 'Enter'. Just click to continue your actions.
    • Reset at any time: If you want to start over, just press 'R' on your keyboard.

    I’m agreeing with you. There’s also some playfulness missing: the older notifications were easier to navigate and process. Now, it feels more difficult to distinguish read from unread notifications, the total number of unread notifications does not stand out and clicking a notification is not consistent as opening tasks happens inline, but notes take you to another window.

    The new dashboard does not update automatically after I complete a task. Suppose I open the first task because it is the most urgent, adjust the due date, write a comment, and then close the task again—this task still appears at the top with the old due date. So I constantly have to refresh the browser.

    You'll now find an additional feature on the home page: the familiar checklist. Previously, it was only accessible through projects (and Agenda/Reports). Now, it's easily accessible again!
