Subgroups on Boards

I suggest implementing the ability to create subgroups within Boards. These subgroups could then be mentioned or notified using a command like "@subgroupname". This would improve communication and make it easier to address only the relevant members in larger teams.

    Hi @Jannik Nitz ,

have you looked at the feature User Groups yet? I think that could be really helpful for you.

A user group is a customized group of people. They can be mentioned or notified via the command @ and make communication really easy. You can ask your Team Admin to create such a group for you.

You can find more information about User Groups here in the Help Center.

Thanks a lot for your message @Cornelia Patscheider ! :)
I’m not seeing the view, most likely because I’m not a business admin and we’re using this through the University of Cologne. That means I would probably need to contact our administrator to create subgroups specifically for our team. However, given the size of the University of Cologne (with thousands of employees), it’s not feasible to set this up individually for every team.

Is there a way to assign these admin rights to multiple users instead?

    Hi @Jannik Nitz,

I would recommend talking to your Team Admin.

It is possible that multiple users have Team Admin rights. It is up to your Admin to decide which users get this permission.

If you only use certain groups, then it might be very easy that the Team Admin sets this up for you. If you group is stable and the members in the group do not change, then it is a one time action he/she can take.

Unfortunately, at the moment it isn't possible that Content Manager who manage individual project board create user groups only for these boards.
