Adding Multiple Main Topics
Being able to have more than one main topic in the same map would be very helpful. With a second main topic rather than a floating topic it would have consistent formatting between the two

I totally agree with you! That would be so awesome to have it as a default option 😍 Being able to have multiple main topics is definitely a thing when I create mind maps.
At the moment, I increase the font size of my second main topic (which is a floating topic) and make it bold, so the map has consistent formatting. Tadada... it looks like I have two main topics!
Doing all the manual labor of having a consistent format is just worth it in my opinion.

I understand this work-around, but I would very much like multiple independent maps on a single canvas. Floating topics still behave and format differently than the main topic because all sub-topics share a single branch. Main topics have multiple branches.
They could be completely independent with only one exception: It would be awesome to be able to draw connections between the multiple maps. (Now I'm adding feature requests to my feature requests!)
