MindMeister Feature and Template Requests
Allow comments in read-only maps
Hi,
As a teacher, I am working on a new course about AI for education. All of my lesson content is stored in MindMeister. What I usually do is share the link with my students, granting them read-only permissions. However, it would be great to add a new feature that allows people to leave comments without editing the content within the mind map. 😀
Sometimes I want to include activities such as open-ended questions and discussions on a particular topic, so my students can leave comments about them. However, this is not allowed in the read-only mode.

This is really must have, now we must use chat to comment things, because its to risky to give "edit" to big group.

Still waiting! I see that the business plan has some settings to restrict users from commenting (without edit access). But I can't buy a membership for all my students.
There should at least be a setting to "Allow Comments" when creating a sharing link.0 -
I'm a teacher who creates these beautiful maps (lessons) to collaborate with kids. I can't give edit access to kids, they might accidentally delete them. But allowing comments (without edit access) will open a lot of roads in collaboration!
