How to paste a YouTube link without showing preview?

When i paste youtube links, it shows a video preview. Is there a setting where i can have it not show that so i just see a little link icon instead of preview or the long link?

    Hello @jfairchild01, welcome to the Community!

    Yes, you can use the attachment option available in each topic to link external assets without loading additional meta information, like previews, icons, titles, etc.

    I just recorded this small video as a demo of what I mean.
