[RESOLVED] Why does PNG export fail to export all branches? [PDF export almost gets it]

Title self explanatory. PNG export is the only reason I've upgraded. I am disappointed it's a broken feature.

Found another topic saying to switch browsers. I've tested on Chrome, Firefox and Safari. Same results on 3 browsers.

My guesses:

  • The image export profile has a limit of branches that automatically scans through. Dev team tested with a few branches and it worked, and this would be an "edge case"
  • The branches processor fails stops when hitting certain characters
  • The closed branches (PNG) is shown on the default view when once I open the page, I wonder if Mindmeister is not "smart" enough to understand I want to export I what I see on the screen

EDIT - I tested PDF export, and it exports almost all, but still has branches closed.

    Hi @Peter,

    I spoke with the devs about the case described above and found out it is most likely a bug.

    The good news is there's a workaround. Please try expanding/collapsing all topics manually, then they should be exported correctly.

    I have the same issue. I upgraded for this export option, but in my case, I upgraded to Pro in the hope that the Word export may resolve it. It also did not.

    It would be great if you could also pass my request to the support team.
