👋 Hello to our MeisterTask Beta Testing Community!

Our MeisterTask mobile developers are looking for users interested in testing and providing feedback for the new MeisterTask Mobile Sync System on iOS and Android.

Interested? Click here to learn how you can install the new sync system (beta) on your device.

This update is particularly relevant for users who have previously had issues syncing the MeisterTask web app with their mobile device. When providing feedback to our team, be sure to not only report any bugs/issues you find, but also to let us know whether the speed/accuracy of synced data meets your expectations.

🐛 Current Known iOS issues:

* Attachments can't be downloaded, Image previews are not shown
* Project-groups are always expanded and the user is unable to collapse them.
* Task move in other projects are not always reflected in the source project.
* Project "Refreshing" spinner does not show for projects where the user does not have write access.
* Background changes of the dashboard and projects are not synchronized
* Guest Tasks can't be modified

    Checklisteneinträge auf dem IPad und auch auf dem Handy verschwinden nach wenigen Sekunden. Werden nicht übernommen und nicht synchronisiert.

    Checklist entries on the iPad and also on the mobile phone disappear after a few seconds. Will not be taken over and will not be synchronised.

    Guten Morgen,

    in der mobilen Beta-Version kann ich innerhalb eine Aufgabe keinen neuen PIN anlegen. Dieser verschwindet nach wenigen Sekunden und ist auch nicht über das Dashboard sichtbar.

    Auch wenn ich auf dem Dashboard einen neuen PIN anlegen möchte, verschwindet dieser nach wenigen Sekunden.

    In the mobile beta version, I cannot create a new PIN within a task. This disappears after a few seconds and is also not visible via the dashboard.

    Even if I want to create a new PIN on the dashboard, it disappears after a few seconds.

    Hi @Andrew Lapidus

    I haven't had much opportunity to test this but was running an errand for my wife at the weekend and had a checklist open on my phone. When I returned home the checklist on my laptop had updated. Not sure if this was happening "live" but was virtually instantaneous upon my arrival home if not.

    If the updates were "live" this would be an awesome feature and can see many uses for it. Tasks updating live when in the fields with clients, add in an automation or two and workflows could be kicked off whilst "out of the office".

    I will get someone to watch my laptop next time I am out just to confirm, unless you can confirm if this is the idea.

    We've actually just shipped the above beta version to production, so it should already be live on your device. Great to hear the positive feedback! :D

    The iOS beta version does NOT solve the sync problem. I have still problems with syncing.

    Hi @Rasmus Nielsen — To activate the new sync system, you may need to:

    1. uninstall/reinstall the app

    2. log out/log in to the app

    In any case, I've forwarded your case to our support team, who will reach out ASAP via e-mail to look at your account in-depth.
