Hi I was able to open a map earlier today but now I keep receiving the message "Sorry I didn't find what you were looking for. It may have been moved or removed."

How are you trying to open your map? Are you clicking on your map from your dashboard?
I have experienced the same error message whenever I move a map to a different folder and then try to open it via the same old link - which won't work. If you have moved the map to a different folder in your dashboard, then you can simply solve it by going to the place where you saved your map and open it from there.0 -
Thanks Cornelia. I have not moved the map at all. It just randomly stopped allowing me to access it on any platform (different browsers as well as the iOS and iPadOS apps).

@cj1111 So, how are you normally opening a map? There are so many different ways, could you describe how you are doing it? Are you clicking on your map from your dashboard? Or have you bookmarked the link?

Hi Cornelia. I am clicking the map in my "Recents" tab and also my "My Maps" tab. I also run into this issue when I try to click the link shared with me form the author.

So, can you still see the map listed in your "Recents" or "My maps"?
Have you tried asking the author to share it again with you? One explanation could be that the author revoked your permission or removed your access. That could be easily solved by the author of the map.

Yes, it still appears in both Recents and My Maps.
Also, yes the Author removed me and then re-added me to the Map and yet I still cannot access it. I even see myself on the lsit of people assigned to the Map with "edit" permissions but I can't access it.

hey @cj1111 , unfortunately, I cannot think of anything on the back end that would influence the map.
Are you working with a lot of maps? In case you are on a basic plan, then you only have access to 3 maps. This could also be the reason why it is not accessible.
Here are some things you could additionally try for a quick, temporary fix:
- the author could duplicate the map, and then give you access to the duplicated map
- you could create another account with a different email address to get access.
