Network Error
Any help would be appreciated.
I just signed up after using it for free for a while.
After signup, when creating the first mindmap after the initial 3 that were free, I got a Network Error (screenshots below.)
Any idea what this might be?
I already rebooted, and I have a healthy internet connection.
Everything else works on my Mac.
I'm also able to edit existing mind maps.
Weird!
I'm guessing it's on MindMeister's side.

Suddenly, out of the blue, it is working.
Must've been on MM's side.

I have this same issue now. Did you ever find out what it was that caused it? Do you think it was just taking a bit to propagate to a paid account?

Service information:
Things Take Time - and the key word is: "Patience"
Everyone will have to accept a bit of delay nowadays 🤓
We are all dependent on syncronization between systems.
The simple non-technical explaination:
Any information being exchanged is depending on a handshake.
The handshake initiates a status update of your data, i.e. has it been received by the other party.
In the event there are latency in the communication between your computer and the server (the handshake is delayed), you can experience a behavior similar to the one you have shared here.
Both on your computer and at the server side there are many components that can influence a lack of or delay in the exchange of handshakes (but that is a more complex story to tell).

I didn't find out the root cause.
If latency is an outcome of the design of MindMeister with the upgrade to the paid version, I propose they place a message to this effect. I wasted time following their suggestions.
I predict the latency would be addressed if it is part of their design of the changeover to the paid version.

I'm having the same problem here. I'll have to use another mind map program

After upgrading to the paid version, I can't use it due to a "network error".

@Emmanuel van der Meulen , @Mitsuhiro Nishi … I think I finally figured out the issue here, at least in my case. It showed that the number of users didn't match the number of licenses I had purchased. I removed a user that was no longer using MindMeister. Once I did that, it fixed the issue. Essentially, the number of users didn't match the plan.
