How to share maps with users who are using the mobile app?

I use MindMeister in my classes. It works fine for me with students who have notebooks and use the desktop version. But I have trouble sharing my maps with students who are working with the mobile app on their smartphones. My maps often don't show up in their accounts. If they log out and use the desktop version on their phones, it works, but the interface is very difficult to use. For instance, one has to zoom out first using the - button before being able to zoom in and out using one's fingers.

Hence my question: What is the best way of sharing maps with users who only have a smartphone? What could I be doing wrong? Many thanks in advance!

Hi Gilles,

It works slightly differently - There's no forced sync on MindMeister as there is on MeisterTask. However, you can enable real-time collaboration on the MindMeister iOS app. This increases the frequency of sync. To do this, follow the steps here.

This is not possible on the MindMeister Android app.

sharing mind maps should normally work the same way on mobile phones, like it does on other devices. I'll try to get the Meister-Team aboard for better clarification, what may cause the described behaviour.

Thank you for your replies and for the e-mail. I've been told that students can synchronize maps manually by going through the following steps:

1. Tap your user avatar in the top-right corner of the MeisterTask interface.
2. Tap the larger user avatar in the My Account menu 4 times in succession to trigger manual sync.
3. You will see the sync symbol on your user avatar. It will only take a few seconds to complete.

This applies to MeisterTask. Is there a similar trick for MeisterMind??
