How to delete comments from other users?

I invited a colleague to check a mindmap I made before we present it this week. She added two notes on changes she suggested. I made the changes and would now like to delete her notes so they don't show up in the transcript.
I did as instructed in the "Add Notes to Topic" instructions: click on the note icon in the bubble, then delete all the content within the note. However it's not possible for me to delete anything in the note. The text is fixed, as if it were a PDF note (see attached screen shot - in case that helps).
Any suggestions?

Alternatively, you could duplicate the map. All comments will not appear in duplicate maps.

Thanks for the point - you're right, I had actually mixed up notes and comments.
The original author couldn't be reached in time for her to delete the comments before our presentation.
So in the end it worked out fine just duplicating the bubble where the comments had been left - I didn't have to duplicate the entire map. It worked well and just took 5 minutes.

Hi Lesley,

It seems you're looking at comments, not notes! Comments can be deleted by the person who wrote them (see picture).

You might have to ask contributors to remove their comments.

I already tried your first suggestion (asking the comment author to remove), which didn't work. But good idea with the 2nd suggestion - I'll try that out this evening. Thanks in advance for thinking about this!
