How can I delete my credit card information?

My team and I are currently using the pro license and will be downgrading to the free basic license starting Feb 1.
Since the basic license is free, I would like to completely delete the credit card information. How can I delete my credit card information? I am concerned that having a credit card on the registration may cause the money to be used.
