What happened to numbering subtopics?

I used mindmeister extensively years ago then was away from the platform for a while. Now, I'm back — and I cannot find any way to number subtopics (or renumber them either). Has this feature been removed? I hope not… :(

Hi @JP Maroney and welcome to the community 👋🙂

There have been some bigger updates and changes to MindMeister because the old version was a bit outdated over the years. The MindMeister help files will give you a quick overview.

To insert numbers to subtopics, you can easily insert emojis.

• On Mac machines
• On Windows machines: windows tab + .
• On mobile devices via emojis from the used keyboard

So, you can't auto-number, or re-number like we could before? That's a HUGE feature - I can't imagine why they would have dropped it. :(

There are so many uses for that feature… outlining any kind of comment where you need to number the topics/subtopics, for example.
