As you all know, we currently have two MindMeister editors, internally called Turtle (old version) and Panda (new version).Ā

We know that it hasnā€™t been easy for some of our long-term users to the acquainted with Panda. Fortunately, new users really like Panda, so weā€™re confident that more and more of our existing users will also start to appreciate the enhanced design and simplicity of Panda.

Following a successful beta phase, weā€™ve started moving users over to Panda permanently. In the first step, weā€™re only moving less active users. The goal is to add missing features to Panda simultaneously, and only move heavy users of e.g., the presentation mode over to Panda once the presentation mode is available there as well.

Itā€™s important to us that our loyal partners use and promote Panda, especially since new users donā€™t have access to Turtle when they sign up, and we all will have to say goodbye to Turtle at some point in the future.

Ready to embrace the Panda?

Thanks for embarking on this journey with us!

    Hi Eva,

Thank you for the status report on editors.

I feel that the new editor is well-accepted in Japan. New users, in particular, are delighted.

I have given feedback and requests several times in the past, and one of the most common requests from Japanese users is the return of the 'right-align' functionality of the map. It would be great if this is added one day.

    Best,

    Yuki
