Hi there! Iโm desperate to have usable editing capabilities on my phone. Any updates on when I can expect this? Iโm on iOS. Given that Iโm paying for a pro subscription, itโs getting quite old not to be able to edit in the app.

@drtemo you are right! I'm a Personal Subscription but I use maps many times with my mobile phone or iPad. Maps are an amazing tools for my mind! But, I spend a lot of time not at my desk, therefore it's essential to have the editor on other devices. I hope this features will be implemented ASAP. Thanks.

Although the new MindMeister editor is still "View Only" in iOS, you can edit those maps using the old editor. You can access the old editor by long pressing the file name (about 2-3 seconds) and then selecting "Open with Old Editor"). This is not an ideal solution because the map will likely look a little different but it works.
Another way of switching to the old editor to enable the ability to edit a map in iOS is to go to the blue box which appears toward the bottom of a map opened in iOS and clicking on the words "switch to the old one."
Meister say they will get editing capability for the new editor in the iOS app in 2023. Let's hope it happens sooner rather than later.
