It’s your new personal assistant designed to enhance your writing experience. Whether you need help starting from scratch, expanding your thoughts, or just polishing your content, this tool is here to make sure you never face a blank page again.

Hi everyone 👋,

I am very exciting to announce that this feature has just been released. You can go to your Notes in the MeisterTask web app and try it out yourself ✨

Meister's generative AI aid is a personal assistant designed to improve your writing, summarize and extend content, or create new paragraphs in your Notes.

How does it work?

There are several types of content you can easily create with AI.
Enter a prompt and AI can create your first draft instantly. To do this:

1. Open a new or existing page in Notes.
2. Select the ✨icon from the left sidebar.
3. Type in your prompt. You can select an existing option and fill out the rest yourself, or write your own prompt.
4. Press Enter.
5. The output will be generated in the right sidebar. When it has stopped generating the output, you can select:
   - Replace
   - Insert below
   - Copy
   - or follow up with additional prompts to refine the output.

I tested the new feature by requesting a summary of a complex concept, and it worked nicely 👏

A few hints for users who don't yet have a lot of experience with AI-based assistants:

• think briefly about the wording of your prompt and write it in short sentences
• specify a maximum text length or word count when it comes to a summary
• be as specific as possible
• tell the assistant what to avoid (hallucination, bad wording etc.)
• specify outlines
• don't be disappointed if the first result is not yet satisfactory
• sometimes AI assistants need additional information or correction of the request
