could you share more details please? I am guessing that you are talking about a note in a mind map, correct?

To edit a note please try the following:

1. Click on the topic.
2. Select the note icon from the toolbar.

A common mistake is to just click on the note icon in the element. In order to edit the note, you need to use the icon in the toolbar.
