Dashboard updated to new 2024 format... but it's very slow...

Hi all,

Just looking for a solution to the new dashboard and its super laggy responsiveness to updates, navigation and workflow. When working in the new format, I noticed that the browser just times out and asks to either wait or leave the page. This has never happened before in the legacy version. Is there possibly a fix or solution in the browser settings that can be adjusted? Using Brave browser.

could you send a screenshot, what do you mean by new dashboard? Do you mean the project with all you tasks in MeisterTask? Or do you work with mind maps in MindMeister?

I am sorry that you are struggling with it. Could you please record this behavior with a screencast with developer console open?

Please know that the Brave browser is officially not supported. I would recommend trying a supported browser.

Thanks for the response and suggestions.

I've tried using Google Chrome and experienced the same issue. The map freezes up and then I get a "Page Unresponsive" pop-up. So far, this happens in Brave and Chrome. I think this might be because I am still working with a legacy map that was recently converted into the new map format.

I've also tried creating a new map just to test for responsiveness issues and it worked seamlessly - no interruptions, no pop-ups. However, it was very basic and not nearly as developed as the one in my second screenshot.

Will be sure to update this posting again in the new year, once I get a chance to build out a new map.
