Bug: Collapse / Expand tool tips visible

Many have pointed out the various regressions of mindmeister. Here is yet a very annoying one : when you collapse, you now have "collapse" and "develop" words all over your screen and it is impossible to work and read your mindmap.

    I am all of a sudden having these black collapse and expand bubbles popping up on my mind maps super annoying - the platform was not doing this before so I assume I clicked some kind of button - how do I make them go away - not do this?

    Hi @Vanessa Simpkins ,

    I am sorry to see that you are encountering this bug. I saw that you already contacted the Meister Support team, they will get in touch with you soon and look closer into this issue.

    For now, I would recommend refreshing the browser page, that will make the Expand/Collapse text popovers disappear.

    Hello Cornelia, thank you for responding. I have refreshed the browser that was the first thing I tried yesterday, then I logged out of safari, opened a new safari browser, tried it in chrome too, reset my computer even … the problem persists. I am looking forward to learning the solution to this issue. Do you have any other ideas? Support has emailed me this morning saying they have forwarded the issue to the appropriate department.

    Unfortunately, no other ideas from my end at the moment. I also encountered the bug, but it disappeared thankfully when I refreshed the page.

    I am sorry that you have to deal with this bug. You can try to refresh the page, for some users refreshing the page solves the problem.

    The MindMeister team is already looking into the problem. I'll keep you updated whenever I have more info to share.

    Thanks for the feedback. I've tried refreshing the page many times. It doesn't solve the problem and I have it on Windows and also Linux, on different computers.

    This morning I had a meeting where I had to present a mindmap and it was a nightmare… This is critical and already for several days.

    I've seen your post about support. Of course, if I had found the possibility to contact the support I would have. When I clicked on support, I found FAQs but no link to a support contact interface. I really took the time to search for it and this is the only place I had found. Now, I see that it is possible… I will use it next time.

    I'm dealing with the same thing! Also have refreshed, restarted, switched browsers (seems to be better on Chrome at the moment). I agree with the "nightmare" description as I will be presenting a map in a workshop in 2 days. I hope this is addressed quickly.

    Good evening.

    the Expand and Collapse tool tips are not closing automatically (or at all) after you stop hovering over the expand and collapse buttons on mind maps.

    thanks for reporting this issue. I am sorry to see, that you are also experiencing this issue, I know how frustrating this can be. Some other users are seeing this behavior as well.

    The MindMeister Team is already looking into this issue. As soon as I have more information to share, I'll update this thread.
