What does it mean to an individual user that team maps will become the default?

I received the email titled "Changes to your MindMeister plan" from MindMeister. It says as below.

Here’s what’s changing

• Creating maps in the My maps area will become a paid feature.
• Map limits are changing from 3 maps per user to 3 maps per team on the Free plan.

However, I am an individual user and do not belong to any team. What does this change mean to me?

Hi @Mirai Shumbo ,

if you are an individual user on a Basic plan with 3 mind maps and do not work in a team, then the changes are very minimal for you.

1. "Creating maps in the My maps area will become a paid feature."

• In the future, you will find your 3 mind maps in the area "Team maps" instead of "My maps". Those areas are accessible in the left sidebar. That is the most important change to keep in mind :)

2. "Map limits are changing from 3 maps per user to 3 maps per team on the free Basic plan."

• The other change will also apply to you, but they will not affect your work, since you don't work in a team. (They will only affect you, in case you decide to form a team in the future and invite other people to form a team.) So all in all, you will continue to have access to same 3 mind maps. You don't need to take any action.
