Is it possible to set the automatic non-alignment of new nodes in the map by default?

Hello @raffing, have you tried right-clicking around the mind map to add nodes where you desire?

Take a look at what that I mean 👇

Disabling the auto alignment in one node doesn't mean that its child nodes will also have the auto alignment disabled.

When I need to drop several free nodes in a row inside the mind map, I use the million dollar trick in the animation above (right-clicking) 😉

You might want to create a feature request, though…
