Why can't I add a new map?

When I go to the icon with the plus sign I want to begin a new map. Clicking on the icon brings up the "upgrade now". Selecting "maybe later" makes the promo go away but I'm stuck in the cycle, not being able to access a new map.

Are you on a free plan? The free plan only allows a maximum of three maps, otherwise sounds like it might be a bug @Andrew Lapidus @Miša

Thank you for pointing this out and making it more obvious to me that free subscriptions limit the accessibility to THREE maps ONLY!
