📣 New MeisterTask Feature: Manage Your Team's Projects in Bulk
Hello MeisterTask Community! 👋
Last week, the MeisterTask team shipped an update aimed at helping admins of large teams manage their projects at scale: the Projects Tab (available under preferences).
The Projects Tab displays a sortable list of all projects owned by your team. It is divided into five columns which show each project's name, creation date, creator, status (active, archived, deleted) and last activity date. Private projects are indicated by an 👤 icon.
From this tab, team admins can:
- Get an overview of all projects and data owned by their team
- Archive, delete or restore projects in bulk 🚀
- Export data on their team's projects (CSV)
- Sort projects based on creation date, last activity date, etc.
- Filter projects by status (active, archived, deleted) or date modified
Along with the Access tab, this update is aimed at allowing admins of large teams to more efficiently manage projects and data security at scale.
💡Feedback wanted!
If you're a Business team admin, we'd love to hear your thoughts on this update.
- Do you find this update helpful for managing projects at scale?
- Do you have any suggestions for improvement?
- Have you had any other issues keeping track of your team's projects/data?

Thanks for the notice, Andrew!
This is definitely an improvement over the way we had to deal with projects in the past.
Congrats to the dev team for this new milestone and a word of appreciation to them for the effort 🥇
Best!
Andres.

Hi Andrew, great news. Not necessarily related to bulk actions - but are you considering to allow specific trackings of "what has happened inside a task?" as well for events / comments > 2 months ago? For short term history the date is specified, but for those older ones not. And it would be helpful to refresh e.g. someones mind if he/she looks up older mails, attachments etc. thx a lot, Tilman

Hi @Tilman Möller - good to hear from you again!
We actually implemented a similar request a while back which might be useful for your use case: It is now possible to get the exact date/time of an action in the task activity feed by hovering your mouse over the "x days ago" text:
This feature is still a bit "hidden", but it does allow you to get precise information about when a specific attachment/action was performed, even if it was a long time ago — is this what you were looking for?
Best,
Andrew

Hi @Andrew Lapidus Excellent new feature. Gives total transparency on all projects. A very useful tool to restore an archived or deleted project instead of reinventing the wheel.

Hi Andrew, sorry for being away. my community account had some troubles ... but Eva helped me out. the a.m. hovering function is fine, but does not work on iPad, right?
In general, any plans to increase MT APP functionality in order to bring the experience closer to computer? that would be cool, esp. for customers using MT on site, e.g. constructions etc1 -
Hi Tilman, no worries! :D Glad to hear Eva helped out.
On the mobile app, actions/comments which were taken over 30 days in the past are shown by their exact date. Earlier actions are still shown as "x days ago." Unfortunately, there's currently no way to adjust this, but I've forwarded it on to our mobile team.
To answer your second question: Yes! The mobile team is specifically working on overhauling our syncing system (available for testing within a few days) and then tackling feature parity between the web and mobile apps.
Hope this helps!
Best,
Andrew
