presentation mode: display multiple elements together on a single slide
Hi,
I've been using MindMeister for several years and noticed some changes in the presentation mode.
Previously, there was a feature that allowed me to group and display multiple elements (siblings and child nodes) together on a single slide. I also could manually order the slides for my presentation, for example, presenting elements in the order 1–3–5–2 instead of the default clockwise sequence of the mind map.
I can't seem to find these options anymore. Does anyone know if these features still exist and, if so, where they can be found?
Thank you in advance!

Hi @Patrick Nell ,
you are correct, the editor has evolved and there have been changes to how the presentation mode works. The customization of the presentation was only available in our previous editor. The latest editor does not allow any customization, therefore grouping elements together is not possible anymore.
You can find more about the changes here in this article.0 -
How do I upvote this feature request?
Without the "old" presentation mode, I may as well cancel my Personal subscription and move over to MindMup, which is 1/4 of the price. From next week, I'll end up losing the ability to give all of my current presentations that I've put together over the years, because they won't work when all maps open in the new editor / viewer.
This might be an "agile" way of doing things, but it's been really poorly thought through.

Hi @Andy Vaughan ,
the post above is just a regular post and not a feature request. You can identify a feature request by the little yellow bar below the text, which also contains a button to upvote.
If you are interested in presentation mode, then these two feature ideas might be interesting:
- Improve presentation mode order
- Ability to set custom zoom level for presentation mode and keep it constant
If you have any other feature ideas then you can go to this category, and click on "New Idea" to create and write your ideas in a post, so that other users can vote on it. I hope this helps.
